About PentaSkills
A small, focused AI and automation practice, based in New Zealand.
We built PentaSkills around a simple idea: most businesses don't need a sprawling technology partner with a service for everything. They need one specific problem solved well.
Our approach
Narrow on purpose.
We don't sell a platform, a licence, or a long catalogue of unrelated services. Every engagement starts with one workflow that's genuinely slowing a business down, and ends with something that workflow's owner will actually use.
That means turning some conversations down — if AI isn't the right tool for what you've described, we'll tell you directly rather than finding a way to sell you something anyway.
Why New Zealand
A useful base to work from.
New Zealand has a track record of producing genuinely significant AI, not just general tech — Soul Machines' autonomous digital humans, Halter's on-device machine learning for livestock, Xero's "Just Ask Xero" assistant, Volpara's FDA-cleared diagnostic models — built by small teams solving specific problems well, rather than by scale alone. It also consistently ranks among the world's most trusted and transparent business environments, which matters when you're asking a company to touch your operational data. It's a practical base for working across both Australasian and Gulf business hours, with English as the working language throughout.
How we work
The principles behind every engagement.
Solve the workflow, not the buzzword
We scope to a specific process that's costing time or money — not to whatever the latest AI trend happens to be.
Fit into what you already run
New tools should sit inside your existing CRM, ERP or inbox — not become one more system your team has to remember to check.
Say no when it's the right answer
If a spreadsheet fix or a process change would solve the problem faster and cheaper than an AI build, that's what we'll recommend.
Explain how it works, in plain language
You should be able to describe what we built to your own team without needing us in the room.
